How tuition works
Tuition depends on the schedule you choose: mornings, the school day or three days a week. The school office goes through the figures with you on a tour and sends them with the enrollment forms, so nothing comes as a surprise.

Registration
Registration opens your child's file and covers the enrollment forms and the first set of classroom materials. It is due once, when you accept a place.
Holding a place
A place is held when the school office has your enrollment forms and the first month's payment, and that payment goes toward tuition. When a schedule is full we keep a waitlist and write to families in the order they joined as places open.
Billing
Tuition is billed monthly by the school office, before the month begins. Families pay by autopay or at the school office, whichever is easier.
Rye Street Pre-K takes part in the state's pre-K program. Ask us how it works with our tuition, and whether other help is open this month.
Siblings
If you have another child at Rye Street School, tell us when you apply. The school office arranges tuition for brothers and sisters differently and explains how.
Withdrawing
We ask for a month's notice in writing, so a family on the waitlist can be offered the place. What happens to a term in progress is in the enrollment forms, and the office goes through it with you.
Snack, supplies and trips
A few things sit outside tuition: the morning snack, art and classroom supplies, and the occasional field trip. Each is explained on the enrollment forms, and lunch comes from home.
