Pre-K
A year of pre-K inside a school
Rye Street Pre-K is one room of four-year-olds inside Rye Street School. It has its own teachers and its own schedule, and it shares the school's library, music room and yard.
Children spend the year learning how a school day goes: hanging up a coat, sitting for a story, taking turns, and finding the way to the library. In the spring, they visit the kindergarten room.

Taking part
Rye Street Pre-K takes part in the state's pre-K program. The school office handles the forms and answers questions.
How it works with tuition
Ask us how the program works with our tuition. We go through it on a tour and again when you apply.
What to do
Tell us on the contact form or at a tour that you would like to use it. We say what the state asks for and when.
What the state decides
Whether a family qualifies is the state's decision, not ours. The school office can point you to the right place to ask.
